Kimono Inspired House Robe 002

Inspired by the classic kimono shape and the european arts and crafts movement, my house robes are designed for grace. Each piece is totally unique and hand stitched from precious antique and vintage pure linen cut work and embroidered household textiles, mainly French turn of the centurary. Wearing these pieces often means wearing hours of skillfull hand work, creativity and the thread of connection to an era steeped in craft, done by women, for the grace of thier homes.

Kimono House Robe 002 is made from a vintage piece of french linen cut work. (This piece is not hand embroidered). I’ve dip dyed it with a soft rose colour which brings out the dove grey stitch work and I cant wait to see who wil be wearing it!
