The Open Chemise is made from traditional linen night gowns which were often a part of a womens ‘trousseau’. Each piece in the trousseau was carefully embroidered with the initials of the owner. I’ve altered these wonderful garments by opening the front and adding deep pockets to create a versatile layering peice which can be worn all year round.

Open Chemise 001 is hand dyed with a soft rose colour. I’ve added a sweet little handkerchief collar and hand finsIhed the pockets and lapels. This peice does not have any initials Size is EU 32- 40
