The Pocket Top is adapted from traditional linen night gowns which were often a part of a womens ‘trousseau’. Each piece in the trousseau was carefully embroidered with the initials of the owner. I’ve altered these wonderful garments which are sometimes too worn out at the hem or in the middle. I add comfortable pockets and to create a versatile layering peice which can be worn all year round.
