Shawl Coat 001 is made for movement, the base is an antique hemp or linen work smock probably from the late 1800s or early 1900s. I’ve added pockets using a scrap of hemp silk from my days at Naturalhigh Lifestyle. The shawl collar is an antique piece of pure linen hand embroidered cut work and the back is layered with a pure linen damask. Hand dyed with a low impact reactive dye. I only have a few of these smocks and I’ll be making the next shawl coat soon but for now cant wait to see who will be wearing this one.
